Fatip Razor Review
Matthewoli98 well known member i was so excited to give the fatip piccolo a try and i was even more excited to find out that this razor dini sent me was an open comb.
Fatip razor review. This is a nice safety bar razor that even covers the tabs of the blade fairly well. All of it is true. Testina gentile according to fatip translates as gentle head in english. I have read several reviews of the fatip grande so i started looking at their razors.
Ever since i started wet shaving open comb razors have fascinated me. Since most reviews on fatip are taking about the grande i wanted to review the retro. I m not sure if it would make for a great starter razor but perhaps a good place to start with your first open comb. Also can t reccommend smallflower enough.
The older ones have a tendency to be finicky with blade alignment. Well happy to report that the nobile follows in the long fatip tradition of providing an efficient yet smooth shave the handle is 4 inches long and is smooth resin i had some concerns it would be slippery when in use as it has no knurling however i had no such problems. It started me thinking about getting an open comb razor for every day use. The razors are recognizable by their unusual original open comb head which guarantees the perfect clean shave for every type of facial hair.
5 0 out of 5 stars a good razor at a good price reviewed in the united states on october 18 2014 i have read a lot about how well the fatip shaves. Today the fatip razor range also includes the gentle closed comb head for a more delicate easy shave. Nothing wrong with the price of the fatip grande it s what one would expect for a razor of this build on par with other razors like the edwin jagger 89lbl or the parker 89r. The fatip piccolo is a great razor be sure and get the updated one with the logo on the bottom of the plate.
